Sunday, July 26: With Jessie as HOH, many of the house guests are hoping that he will stick to the script and evict Ronnie. However, Ronnie feels hopeful that Jessie will keep him around because of their prior alliance. For his part, Russell has covered his bases by making a secret deal with Ronnie and, while he was calling Ronnie out in front of the other HGs, in private told Ronnie that he wants to work with him.
Once Natalie and Russell get wind of the fact that Jessie feels no obligation to put up Ronnie, they start chatting between themselves that Casey should be put up.
Later in the yard, Jeff, Jordan, and Casey are talking about how they hope Jessie puts Ronnie up. When Natalie comes out to join the fun, Casey makes a tactical error by implying that Jessie could be putting a target on his back if he pisses off the house by not evicting Ronnie. Natalie heads straight up to Jessie to inform him of this, which puts Jessie's nose out of joint.
Later in the yard, Lydia and Natalie exchange catty glances as they each vie for Jessie's attention. Jessie, of course, bears the horrifying burden of being "ridiculously good looking" so he finds himself caught in between their respective adorations of him.
Michele heads up to Jessie's HOH room later to try to establish an insta-friendship with him by promising him that she could be a loyal vote to him and could be someone he could count on in the future. Jessie seems completely unfazed by all of Michele's overtures and doesn't like the fact that she only makes an effort to talk to him when he has some power in the house.
At the Have/Have-Not competition, the Athletes are exempt because Jessie is HOH, and the remaining cliques choose one member each to participate for food and luxury privileges. Chima represents the Brains; Kevin represents the Offbeats, and Jordan, as the only Popular left, plays for that clique. The competition, entitled "Bev-Rage," entailed each of the three participants riding around on electric carts and taking giant ice-cube shaped objects and throwing them into giant cups, each of which had the name of one of the cliques on it. The clique that had the most ice cubes in its cup by the end of the competition would be the have-nots for the week. When the ice cubes were counted, the Brains had the most and became the have-nots. In addition to the slop, America voted, after the July 19 show, for the have-nots to receive cabbage and cocktail weenies as their extra food item. For the next Have/Have-Not competition, America gets to vote on the following additional food items for the Have-Nots: Squash & Squid, Brussels Sprouts & Borscht, or Liverwurst & Black Licorice.
A conversation between Jordan, Jessie, and Natalie leaves Jordan confident that Jessie is on board with the plan to evict Ronnie. In the backyard, Russell and Kevin bond, and Russell says he respects Kevin's 9-year relationship with his boyfriend. On the other hand, the relationship between Natalie and Lydia further deteriorates when Natalie doesn't want to share her bed with Lydia when everyone is switching beds as the new Have-Nots move into their room. Later in Jessie's HOH room, Natalie tells Jessie that Lydia is jealous of their relationship and wants to split them up.
At the nomination ceremony, the keys are pulled as follows: Chima, Kevin, Casey, Lydia, and Ronnie. Therefore, Jessie nominates Jordan and Michele for eviction, but doesn't say why he chose them. Jordan is hopeful that they are just there as pawns and that Jessie will try to backdoor Ronnie. Jessie, unbeknownst to the other HGs, seems to want to backdoor Casey.
Tuesday, July 28: Following the nomination ceremony, everyone is still convinced that the plan is still to backdoor Ronnie. When Ronnie offers himself as a pick for Michelle to help her in the veto competition, she tells him that she wouldn't pick him and shares the offer with the other HGs, who have a good horse laugh at Ronnie's expense.
However, later in the HOH room, Jessie and Natalie tell Ronnie that he's safe and Ronnie proclaims Jessie to be his "brother from another mother," and pronounces Natalie to be his "sister from another mister." This new family expands by one when Chima is brought into the alliance and Jessie tells her that he wants to backdoor Casey and not Ronnie. Chima, Ronnie's clique-mate, agrees to this. Jessie then works on Kevin and Lydia to get them to go along with the new program.
At the veto competition, Jessie picks Jeff, Michele picks Casey, and Jordan picks Chima. Jessie chooses Natalie to be the host for the competition. The house guests change into pink unitards with pig noses. The challenge involves the HGs swinging into a mud pit and select four "truffels," each with a point value or a prize. The object is to select four truffels that will have the highest point value versus the truffels that the other contestants selected. Casey, still clueless about Jessie's true intentions, takes a "margarita party" prize as one of his four truffels instead of a point value because he feels that it doesn't matter who wins the veto as long as Ronnie is put up as a replacement nominee. Further, Casey also selected a mystery envelope, which had the "prize" of wearing a banana suit for a week. Michele ended up winning the veto competition, which was just fine with Jessie. Later, Jessie takes Michele's temperature about Ronnie not going up as a replacement nominee. This conversation sets off bells in Michele's head, and she correctly deduces that Ronnie is working with Jessie. After further discussion, Michele also correctly comes to the conclusion that Jessie wants to backdoor Casey.
Later, Michele asks Lydia whom she thinks Jessie will put up as a replacement nominee, and Lydia says that she thinks it'll be Casey. Lydia then tells Jordan this who tells Jeff who tells Casey. When Casey asks Jessie whom he plans on putting on the block, Jessie just says that "the right guy" is going up. Casey tries to convince Jessie that he has no intention of going after Jessie, and Jessie seems to give this consideration. However, at the veto ceremony, Michele removes herself from the block, and Jessie puts up Casey in her place, telling Casey, "move your feet, you got a new seat" -- namely, the green nomination chair left empty by Michele.
Thursday, July 30 (DAY 26): The house evicts Casey, 7 to 1. Russell had a deal with Casey and cast his vote to evict Jordan. Russell becomes HOH.
