Sunday, July 19: The fallout of Ronnie's secret betrayal begins to splinter the house, but Laura suspects that it was Ronnie who switched his vote and voted to evict Braden rather than Chima. Laura expresses her suspicions to everyone in the house, but it backfires on her as word gets back to Ronnie.
The HGs compete in the Have/Have-Not competition to see who will attend a private screening of the movie, The Ugly Truth starring Katherine Heigel and Gerard Butler. The winners of this competition, Chima and Casey, also get the power to determine which clique will be the Have-Nots for the week, and they decide on the Populars (Jeff and Jordan). America is asked to vote on what additional food items, besides Big Brother Slop, the Have-Nots are to receive. The choices are: Sauerkraut & Seaweed, Cabbage & Cocktail Weenies, or Pickled Eggs & Pickled Herring.
At the nomination ceremony, Ronnie nominates Jeff and Laura for eviction. Ronnie considers Laura the true threat, while Jeff is the pawn. However, Ronnie's ultimate plan at this time was to backdoor Russell after the POV competition.
Tuesday, July 21: The competitors for the veto competition are picked, and they are: Ronnie, Jeff, Laura, Russell, Casey, and Natalie. Lydia is chosen by Ronnie to be the host for the competition, "Big Brother Mint." The contestants are instructed to scoop up loose change and come closest to a stated dollar amount. The contestant furthest away in each round gets eliminated. The final round comes down to Russell and Jeff, and Jeff wins. Russell starts to worry that Ronnie might put him up as a replacement nominee once Jeff undoubtedly uses the POV on himself.
In Ronnie's HOH room, Ronnie, Kevin, Lydia, and Chima discuss backdooring Russell. Ronnie convinces all of them to go along with it. Later, Ronnie invites Laura into the conversation and tells her about the plan. Laura, convinced that Ronnie is the "rat," basically just tells Ronnie whatever he wants to hear in the hopes of taking the target off her back.
At a later conversation between Chima, Natalie, and Ronnie, Ronnie again asks if Russell should be backdoored. Natalie seems doubtful, even though she feels she can't trust Russell, because she knows that Jessie won't like the idea. When Jessie and Lydia are brought into the meeting, Jessie says he'll go along with the plan, but thinks it would be better to keep Laura on the block. Chima doesn't want there to be a "missed opportunity" to get Russell out, and is one of the more vocal supporters of getting Russell out this week.
At the veto meeting, Jeff uses the POV and removes himself from the block. Ronnie once again sticks to his own agenda, and surprises everyone by putting up Jeff's gal pal, Jordan, in Jeff's place. Ronnie's logic was that Jordan was on the block just to be a pawn because he felt that Laura was a threat to him in the game and needed to be removed.
Thursday, July 23 (DAY 19): In the days following the veto meeting, Ronnie makes a crucial mistake that leaves him completely exposed to the house and puts a huge target on him going forward. Laura tries to make a last-ditch deal with Ronnie that Jordan should be voted out because Jeff and Jordan are playing the game together. Ronnie tells Laura that if Jessie switches his vote, so will Natalie. Further, Lydia and Kevin would then switch their votes.
Later, Ronnie brings Natalie, Kevin, Lydia, and Chima up to his HOH room to float the idea of keeping Laura over Jordan. However, both Natalie and Lydia are adamant that they will evict Laura. With that, Ronnie decides to take an opportunity to lie and throw Russell under the bus by saying that Laura told Ronnie that Russell will try to get the votes switched to get Laura to stay. This proves to be a costly error on Ronnie's part as Natalie leaves the room and heads straight to Jessie in the backyard to tell him what Ronnie said about Russell. Jessie then calls Russell for a chat to confront him about it. Russell denies it and is told that Ronnie started the story. As more and more people come out to the yard, the cloud of doubt gets larger and larger over Ronnie's head. Finally, both Russell and Ronnie are brought outside with all the house guests and Laura asks Ronnie directly in front of everyone to confirm that she told Ronnie that Russell could get the votes switched. Ronnie handles the situation extremely badly and simply says that he won't be put on the spot and will not answer Laura's accusations.
The situation only escalates later when Ronnie tells Russell that he hasn't lied to Russell, Jessie, or Lydia. Russell, hot-tempered as usual, calls everyone into the kitchen to hear what Ronnie has to say. The house in unison quickly turns against Ronnie and, having been called out as "the rat," Ronnie retreats to his HOH room, where he spends the majority of the subsequent few days alone. Ronnie immediately regrets not putting Russell up for eviction. The only times Ronnie comes out of his HOH room is when he is called by Big Brother to go to the Diary Room. Whenever Ronnie does come out, Russell is right there to follow him around the house and antagonize him. However, both Jessie and Natalie sympathize with Ronnie.
The votes to evict fall as follows: Jeff to evict Laura, Jessie to evict Laura, Natalie to evict Jordan, Casey to evict Laura, Russell to evict Laura, Kevin to evict Laura, Lydia to evict Laura, Chima to evict Laura, and Michele to evict Laura. Therefore, the house evicts Laura, 8 to 1. Natalie was the only one who went against the house to "spice it up" and cast her vote to evict Jordan.
At the HOH competition, entitled, "Buzzworthy," the house guests have to launch balls into the Big Brother honeycomb. Each compartment in the honeycomb has a specific point value, and the house guest with the highest point value becomes the new HOH. The contest ends in a tie between Jessie and Jeff. In the tiebreaker launch, Jessie wins and becomes HOH again -- the first house guest this season to win multiple HOHs.
